Financing Postpartum Support
Postpartum doulas are, in my opinion, a necessity. The benefits of a doula have been shown to reduce the risk of postpartum mood disorders, promote bonding and lead to more successful breastfeeding rates. However, it’s an expense that not many have the luxury to afford.
I want to change that. I believe EVERY postpartum mother deserves support, guidance and care especially in the first few weeks after birth. To help facilitate this I am offering multiple options and ideas to help you finance your care.

Gift Certificate
A gift certificate is a great way to finance some or all of your postpartum support. Friends and family often love to gift money to soon to be parents; they aren’t always sure what exactly to gift. However, very few are unaware of the benefits of a postpartum doula. This is a perfect opportunity for friends & family to provide a meaningful and impactful gift on your postpartum journey.

This option is perfect for lower or middle class families that are hoping for postpartum care but aren’t able to pay the hefty price all at once.

Baby shower registries are a great place to begin planning for postpartum support! Often there are things such as diapers, cribs, baby carriers on the registry but did you know that doula support can also be included?
